Wing 1

The pair entitled Wing 1 and Wing 2, which can be hung as a dyptich, continues my exploration of our relationship with other animals. Creatures that have the ability to fly have always seemed to me miraculous. I've always felt that, in them, we take for granted, something we should value enormously, wonder at and protect, particularly since birds are so directly dependent on the changing environment we share and their numbers, in many places, are falling.
