Lesole Tauatswala is a multidisciplinary artist working in image-making proceses, primarily video and photography. His work focuses on collective and personal memory premised on post colonial discourses of culture and tradition. He is also interested in the archive, specifically its relationship to Black identity. His curatorial interests are in modes and processes of Image-Making, along the themes, and preoccupations of Identity-making and Place-making, especially in cities of the Global South. He is currently reading towards a Master's in Fine Arts at the University of the Witwatersrand.
