This work looks at the forced removals as a recurring theme blanketed in black bodies being moved in order to accommodate white bodies, whether it be during the Tulsa Oklahoma massacre, Sophiatown and many others between 1960s - 1980s or recently the illegal evictions and demolitions of housing in Khayelitsha. It takes these unprecedented violent moments and creates a space for the journey that lies ahead for black people. A better, just tomorrow where we can fly away in a spaceship to create a space that is more welcoming for our kind.
