David Tsoka carve directly onto the plate. David start by inking up the plate black so that when he carve, the lines appear white. David never draw a lot of detail onto the plate before he carve, he usually allow the light areas to tell him what happens next as he carve. David Tsoka therefore carve from black to white, he carve into the darkness to create light and then he make decisions from there.
