The Social Divide

The Social Divide,  more or less functions the same as the economic divide. Growing up, the richer families would buy their kids BMX bikes,and if you had it as a child, it was a social status and set you apart as a “cool kid”. The handle bars in the centre of the artwork represent the divide and having control in life; jaaka ba e tshwere ka dinaka,bana ba ba bahumi (just like they’re handling it  by the horns, the children of the rich).”
