'FACING THEIR FEARS - Dark, Chasing The Light'

'Facing Their Fears' is a painting by the abstract expressionist painter George Masarira from his new solo exhibition: 'JAMBANJA Urban Chaos Interrupted' 2023. The talented Zimbabwean-born artist addresses cross-border migration and displacement across Africa.

The work is part of his new solo exhibition with Madlozi Contemporary Art in which the artist examines the lived experiences of immigrants who flee their countries and live undocumented and as stateless person from across Africa.
