Exhibitions at LCA
Latitudes Centre for the Arts (LCA) is a physical, multi-purpose exhibition space in Johannesburg dedicated to the year-round promotion of artists and galleries on the continent. LCA’s cultural programme includes educational and discursive activities for artists and collectors. However, its main objective is to provide galleries on the continent and its diaspora an opportunity to show in South Africa and access a Johannesburg-based clientele. LCA is located at Shepstone Gardens, a magnificent three-acre property in Johannesburg that comprises a large scale, purpose-built gallery, manicured gardens and rooftop entertainment areas.

Artist Materials Fund
The Latitudes Art Fund aims to provide financial support to visual artists by covering the cost of essential art supplies, enabling them to continue their creative pursuits without the economic burden of material expenses. Art materials, from high-quality paints and canvases to sculpting tools and digital equipment, are often prohibitively expensive, especially for emerging and independent artists. This fund seeks to bridge that gap, ensuring that lack of resources does not limit artistic potential and innovation. By empowering artists with access to the tools they need, we foster a vibrant and inclusive creative community where artistic voices from diverse backgrounds can thrive.
Art Brand Campaigns
We collaborate with brands to create bold, culturally-rooted campaigns that spotlight African artists and connect with audiences in meaningful ways. From limited-edition artworks to immersive experiences, our campaigns merge art and storytelling to build lasting impact. We have worked with international brands such as Gucci, Nike, Levi’s, Frédéric Malle, Samsung, Campari and rain.
