Michael Selekane is a South African visual artist who obtained his National Diploma in Fine and Applied Arts in 2012 and a B-Tech in Fine and Applied Arts in 2014 from Tshwane University of Technology. Selekane has participated in numerous exhibitions nationally and internationally, including the National Arts Festival in Grahamstown in 2009 and 2010, a solo exhibition at the Pretoria Art Museum in 2015, and exhibitions at Constitution Hill and Lizamore & Associates. He has also participated in leading art fairs, including the FNB Joburg Art Fair and Turbine Art Fair. Through his practice and extensive exhibition history, Selekane has established a presence within South Africa's contemporary art landscape.
