Sibusiso Gcaba

Sibusiso Gcaba (b. 1989) is a Johannesburg-based photographer known for his diverse expertise in photography and multimedia. After studying photography at the Market Photo Workshop in 2016, he furthered his education in Advertising at Umuzi in 2017, specializing in multimedia. In 2019, he completed a Photography Narrative Building course at Through The Lens and is currently studying film at Sky Rink Studios.

Gcaba's work has been featured in both local and international group exhibitions. He was a finalist in the Lagos Photo and National Geographic Portfolio Review Award in 2018. His notable exhibitions include the Street Culture group exhibition at Agog Gallery in 2017, a group exhibition about Johannesburg at Through The Lens Gallery in 2018, The Yaounde Photo Festival in Cameroon in 2019, and the 2019 Summer Salon Exhibition at Bag Factory in Johannesburg.
