My name is Sinalo Ngcaba, I'm a 27 year old visual artist from East London and Bizana but now based in Johannesburg. I'm self taught in technique but learnt about the industry when I was doing a year of design in advertising at Umuzi Academy. I'm always updating my style and trying new things with different mediums such as oil pastels, ink, digital and paint. I am a creative. I am a storyteller. I am an artist. In my art I explore the intersections of black joy, black pop culture, womanhood and human rights issues in a contemporary world. As creatives it's our duty to evoke emotions that can change the world for the better, to record and document stories of the current world we live in. I believe There's more to life than just breathing. I am grateful to have worked with brands and people such as Piano People UK, Nike, Aperol Spritz, Gauteng Dept. of Sports, Arts & Culture, Amref International, Comedy Central Africa and NATIVE Mag, Sindiso Khumalo and Bam Marley.
