Lungiswa Gqunta (b. 1990, Gqeberha, South Africa) is a multidisciplinary artist working across performance, printmaking, sculpture, and installation. Her practice interrogates spatial exclusion, land ownership, and the lingering legacies of colonialism and patriarchy. Through everyday materials charged with political and social meaning, Gqunta reclaims space and challenges systemic inequalities rooted in race, class, labour, and gender.
