Aweh Migo is a multimedia visual artist based in Cape Town. He studied graphic design at the Ruth Prowse School of Art and has more than fifteen years of experience in design, graffiti, and painting. He has also been commissioned by prominent brands like Red Bull and Design Indaba to create large-scale artworks for campaigns and events. His style is characterised by semi-realistic visuals and bold colours inspired by hip-hop culture.

Migo's multidisciplinary background allows him to move fluidly between mediums, from street-scale murals to more intimate studio works, while maintaining a consistent visual identity rooted in energy, rhythm, and vibrancy. His graffiti roots continue to inform his approach to composition and colour, favouring dynamic, high-impact imagery that draws the viewer in. Deeply influenced by hip-hop culture, his work often reflects themes of identity, self-expression, and urban life, translating the movement's spirit of authenticity and boldness into visual form. Having built a reputation through both commercial commissions and independent projects, Migo continues to navigate the space between commercial design and fine art, using each large-scale project as an opportunity to push his practice further while staying true to his distinctive style.
