Ditiro Mashigo (b. 1990, Lebowakgomo, Limpopo) is a South African textile artist and fashion designer based in Pretoria. She is the founder of Serati Ltd, a fashion and textile label recognised for its exploration of spirituality, heritage, craftsmanship, and sustainable design. Mashigo studied textile and fashion design before completing an Advanced Diploma in Fine and Applied Arts at the Tshwane University of Technology. Inspired by nature, traditional craft practices, and her Sepedi heritage, her work blends fashion, fibre art, and fine art through intricate textures and material experimentation. Mashigo gained national recognition in 2019 for designing costumes for the Soweto Gospel Choir. Her collaborative projects include work with #10MillionMasks during the COVID-19 pandemic and the 2023 “uMsamo” collection with Mr Price.
