Masindi Ikhona Nafisa Mbolekwa (b. 2002) is a Johannesburg-based visual artist whose work delves into the exploration of binaries and their impact on perceptions of boundaries, otherness, cultural identity, and metaphysical reality. A 2023 Honours graduate in Fine Arts from the University of the Witwatersrand, Mbolekwa engages with the history and language of figurative painting, re-contextualizing it within the contemporary art landscape.
Through meticulous referencing and symbolic language, Mbolekwa fosters dialogues on these themes. His work has been featured in group exhibitions with the Moleskine Foundation, Asisebenze Art Atelier, Denzils and Jo, Saint Lorient Gallery, and Keyes Art Mile.
