Mncedisi Mchunu is a visual artist from Soweto, Johannesburg. He began his formal artistic training at the renowned Artist Proof Studio in 2023. and is currently in his third and final year of study. Mchunu is recognized for his distinctive graphic, non-traditional drawing style, primarily realized through printmaking techniques including monotype, drypoint, linocut, and etching.

His practice explores themes of mental health, emotional well-being, and personal experience, seeking to articulate the unconscious mind through symbolic and religious imagery. Drawing on intersectional identities, Mchunu’s work invites viewers to engage both intellectually and emotionally, fostering reflection and connection.
