Jean-Louis N’cho is an Ivorian photographer whose practice bridges fine art, street, and conceptual photography.
His work explores identity, memory, and heritage through series such as Les Abidjanais and Mondoukou, which combine street scenes with Akan and Adinkra symbols. Initially photographing with his phone, he developed a distinctive style that celebrates Africa’s visual languages.
A recipient of the 2024 Prazzle Galaxy Grant, N’cho has exhibited at the African Foto Fair, Yaoundé Photo Fest, and Kampala Foto Lubumbashi.
