Born in Durban in 1986, Ryan Adams is a multifaceted contemporary photographer and educator currently based in Cape Town, South Africa. Adams possesses a diverse professional background spanning architecture, photojournalism, and education—a unique combination of disciplines that profoundly informs his structured yet deeply human approach to documentary photography. For the past twelve years, he has dedicated much of his time to teaching, sharing his expertise and shaping young minds both locally within South Africa and internationally.
