Samukelo Gqola was born in 1997 in Soweto, Johannesburg. He joined Artist proof studio in 2018 where he did his first year in printmaking and had the opportunity to work in the Special Projects Unit working on big corporate commissions. Gqola is currently completing his third year at Artist Proof Studio specialising in lithography , etching and silk screening.
