Tsako Manuel Hobyani (b. 2000) is a multi-disciplinary artist who grew up In Freedom Park, Johannesburg, South Africa. His artistic journey began with an innate love for illustration, painting and printmaking, which has now become his primary mediums of expression. Tsako thrives on conceptualizing his art by infusing a re-imagination of a future flush with art, culture and technology through a black lens. Through his work he aspire to reinvent the past and the future using traditional patterns in a digital manner incorporating elements of black history and culture.
TsakoΒs artistic journey reached a turning point during his time at Artist Proof Studio. This pivotal experience allowed him to embraced his interests in various printmaking processes like Linocut and silkscreen and this uplifted him as a well determined and vigorous artist and also improving his skills to being a professional printmaking artist and hones his artistic voice.
