Wanda Gqala (b. 1996, Eastern Cape) is a Johannesburg-based multidisciplinary visual artist working across painting and printmaking. His practice explores dreams, identity, memory, lived experience, and the relationship between people, place, and the subconscious. Working with oil painting, linocut, and drypoint, Gqala creates works that draw from personal experiences, inner worlds, and everyday life.
