Ash Curtain

Bonita Alice mainly works in the three-dimensional. Often constructing but at time also making use of the found object, as is the case with this work. It was a gift to her from a friend who bought it from the sale of the state opera fittings when they disbanded in 2003. Filled with ash in its hemn it makes for some dramatic display, weighted by all the ash.
