Between Granite A3

Raynard Tissink, in 2nd place for the for the inaugural 100k climbs through a granite gully while ascending Suther Peak, Hout Bay.

This part of the route is my trail backyard and I knew it well. I wanted to shoot the leaders arriving at the top of Suther Peak, but they were faster than I had anticipated. I knew I wouldn’t make it to the peak, so set up for this shot wanting to contrast the runners against the giant slabs of granite.
