We often believe we are shaped by our strongest moments. Yet it is the moments that interrupt, challenge, and reshape us that quietly become the foundation of who we are. Born in Fracture explores the journey of becoming through a fragmented figurative sculpture. Its fractured form is not a symbol of defeat, but of a self still taking shape. The openings within the figure suggest the memories, experiences, and unseen forces that continue to shape us long after they have passed. Rather than presenting wholeness as a final destination, the work embraces becoming as an ongoing process. It asks us to consider that our most defining moments are not always those of certainty, but those that change us from within. Perhaps we are never finished becoming. Perhaps every fracture carries the possibility of a new beginning.
