This image is of something tenderly wrapped in rich cloth. It is related to the theme of the sadness of loss, but also of the love that lies at the heart of such sadness. In my practice this is often linked to species loss and a reminder to value and protect what we may take for granted in the natural world. The act of wrapping something for me has always suggested great tenderness and love, but that may come with sadness and loss.
