I AM MY VERY OWN APARTHEID

This piece is central to my work.
It expresses my life time struggle of finding peace within my self:

Peace between the european and african bloodlines running through my veins.
peace between ancestral ways of life, and urban life style.
Peace between the disgrace of being filthy rich, and the necessary confort of a house and a car.
Peace between the love of loneliness and the craving for a family.
Peace between being aware, totaly, our my inner beauty, and the arrogance of witnessing me as such.

This peace finds it's roots in using "and", insted of "or".

But most of all, how can one hope for peace in the outer world, when our inner world is such a battle field.
