Moleboge

A self-titled artwork that depicts the artist’s hyper-fixation with enamelware. Growing up with a maximalist mother who continues to collect a lot of enamel dishes and being constantly exposed to them led to the fascination of a seemingly simple object. The artist believes that the desire to create is inspired by obsession. The idea is portrayed in this artwork by the woman being surrounded by not only enamelware but patterns; the sequence from the moment something constantly preoccupies the mind leading to inspiration then creation.
