"Seeking The Source III"

In this piece, I explore themes of resilience, innocence, and shared responsibility within the African community. The painting depicts two young girls holding yellow water containers, symbols of both burden and strength. Their radiant blue skin embodies purity, unity, and hope, while the vivid yellow reflects the weight of survival and the preciousness of water as life itself. Through their smiles and posture, I capture the duality of hardship and joy that defines many African childhoods. Despite adversity, these children radiate courage and dignity. My vibrant, layered use of color and texture creates emotional depth, urging viewers to look beyond the surface. This work reflects on empathy, community, and the collective effort to uplift one another. Its a tribute to everyday resilience and the beauty that endures amid struggle. It forms part of my ongoing Untold Stories series.
