" The Land of hopes ll"

The artwork was created using charcoals, acrylics paints, tea and or teabags on acid free canvas roll. And the work was inspired by childhood memories of growing up in the rural areas, whereby our families had to go long distances to fetch water in the early morning hours in order to be used for drinking, cooking and hygiene purposes. But however the work also explores the deprivation of the inaccessible of safe drinking water it has on most African countries and how the situation also tends to deprive the affected people freedom and dignity to their livelihood. The Johannesburg skyline represents hope between the two segments (the informal which is unconducive for the human condition). I want the view to have a sense of sympathy for the affected and give a helping hand when one is in need.
