Today you come back to us

Today, you come back to us (2026) Oil and acrylic on canvas A woman stands at the meeting point between land and water, holding a bouquet of blue and yellow flowers. Her white dress and upright posture give the figure a ceremonial presence, while the surrounding landscape stretches outward behind her. The flowers can be understood as an offering, a gesture of welcome or a sign of remembrance, giving the work a sense of anticipation and return. Today You Come Back to Us considers return as something emotional and ancestral as much as physical, a coming back into relationship with people, place and memory.
