CORPUS

CORPUS (2026) Acrylic, Charcoal and Pastel on Canvas Holding a single flower against a dark background, the figure appears almost suspended between visibility and obscurity. The flower introduces a delicate, living presence that contrasts with the exposed body, creating a meditation on vulnerability, resilience and self-possession. The work can also be read through ideas of spirituality and ritual, where flowers and plants may carry meanings beyond their physical form. Here, the figure seems to occupy a space between the earthly and the symbolic, inviting reflection on how the body can become a site of transformation.
