F*ck it, Lets use the fancy china

Part celebration, part absurdist illustration, "Fuck It, Let's Use the Fancy China" (2025) is an ode to the strange and wonderful objects that accumulate in our homes over time; family heirlooms, thrifted treasures, and the peculiar items we simply couldn't leave behind. Illustrated in a classic blue-and-white palette reminiscent of traditional fine china, the piece began with an egg-shaped spatula from my own collection and quickly spiralled into a world of playful imagination, where toilet bowls double as cereal bowls, flamingo-shaped kettles share table space with martini glasses designed to catch boy tears. The familiar visual language of decorative porcelain is reimagined through a collection of delightfully unconventional objects, blending nostalgia, humour, and curiosity. Printed on Hahnemühle paper, this illustration is a reminder that life is too short to save things for special occasions. Use the weird stuff. Use the fancy china.
