Carolina Salinas
Carolina Salinas is a Chilean-Australian artist, living and working in Cape Town. Her love and passion for colour, pattern and form emanate through her paintings which use the female subject to illustrate her expressive style. She uses mixed media with predominantly acrylic, ink and oil pastel on paper and focuses on the relationship of colour and shape. Carolina is driven by her curiosity and fascination with identity - particularly that of women and their place in the world.
