Benigno Mangovo
Benigno Mangovo was born in Cabinda (Angola) on September 12, 1993, into an artistic family. He has been drawing since childhood. In 2017 he joined the painting and drawing studio Mawete, in Luanda (Angola), also connected to his brother, the renowned painter and sculptor Cristiano Mangovo.
He expresses himself through painting and video art. His personal experiences and reflections are references for his works. His art focuses on the exploration of memory, feelings, emotions, perceptions, interpersonal relationships and man-places relationship.
