Maria Lebedeva
Maria Lebedeva is a Russian-born South African illustrator (1986). She has a BA in Information Design from the University of Pretoria, an MPhil in Visual Arts (Illustration) from the University of Stellenbosch, and is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Johannesburg. Maria's illustration work spans both commercial and authorial illustration, focusing primarily on illustration for children's books. She has exhibited locally with Gallery 2, Salon 91, and at KKNK, among others. Maria currently resides in Somerset West.
