He was educated and trained as a scientist, a physicist and mathematician in a field requiring precision, clarity and hard facts. By the time he completed his PhD in Applied mathematics he was already gaining a name as an artist and decided to follow this direction. His work can be found in many private and corporate collections. He keeps a studio in Cape Town, South Africa.
