Chelsea Young's artistic journey has transformed from crafting large-scale oil paintings in urban Cape Town, South Africa, to blending textiles and oil paintings in her Botswana studio. The stunning backdrop of Botswana, with its Kalahari Desert and the Okavango Delta, provides an inspiring backdrop for her work.

Holding a Fine Art degree from the University of Stellenbosch, Chelsea has delved into the concept of "art as experience," focusing on the impact of color and scent on the human body. In 2022, she broadened her artistic horizons through residencies in Kenya's Rift Valley and Andore, India. These transformative experiences shifted her focus towards intuitive, experiential art, reminiscent of internal landscapes.
