Remedy brings together the work of three women artists who utilize their process-oriented practices to address the challenges of contemporary life.
Healing Through Art:
Inspired by Louis Bourgeois's concept of “restoration”, this exhibition explores how artistic creation can serve as a form of healing. The featured paintings, sculptures, and tapestries engage with the idea of transforming personal and societal anxieties into something whole.
Negotiating Realities:
Though employing diverse media, each artist shares a commitment to using art as a means to navigate the complex intersections of social, political, and personal realities, particularly those shaped by gender.
