Chidinma Nnoli is part of a new crop of Nigerian artists working to highlight womanhood in all its diversity. She addresses the issues affecting women in a largely conservative society with religion and gendered obligations. Her female figures contemplate the feminine embodied experience, the painterly backdrop of impressionist flowers present a lush universe of possibilities.
