Va-Bene Elikem Fiatsi, also known as crazinisT artist, is a Ghanaian multidisciplinary artist based in Ghana. Born in Ho, Volta Region of Ghana in September 198, they hold a Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts (BFA) in Painting from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, Ghana, where they are currently pursuing their Master of Fine Arts (MFA).
Since 2012, crazinisT artist has embarked on an ongoing journey to explore and challenge the social constructivism of human existence, focusing particularly on the cultural implications of gender stereotypes and sexual misrepresentation. Their work is driven by a deep belief in unconditional love for humanity, irrespective of identity or belonging. This belief motivates their art to critically examine issues such as socio-cultural supremacy, the marginalization of individuals, political injustice, violence, vulnerability, and the objectification of human beings.
