Thanduxolo Nombali Phakati (b. 1994, Greytown, KwaZulu Natal) is a self-taught artist who has developed a distinctive voice in the world of contemporary art. Raised in Dundee, where she currently resides, Thanduxolo began her artistic journey in 2019 as a means of escaping the demands of her academic studies at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology, from which she graduated with an undergraduate degree.
