Kedirile Kemaketse
Kedirile Kemaketse is self-taught artists born and bred in Kanye village south of Botswana.
Inspired by the sights and sound of his home village and the various narratives (seen and unseen), Kemaketsi uses various mediums in his work like pencil, crayon, charcoal pen, graphite and acrylic. He derives inspiration from nature and the universe at large.
He has a huge interest in ruins and old artifacts hence his current work has lot of texture, cracked lines and abstract compositions.
