Zoha Zafar Malik (b. 1996) is a visual artist and poet currently based in Lahore, Pakistan. A 2019 graduate of the National College of Arts, Lahore, Malik has been actively exhibiting he work since 2016, building a strong presence both within Pakistan and on the international stage.
Her talent has been recognised with several notable accolades. In 2019, she was honoured with the Young Artist Award by the Alhamra Arts Council in Lahore. Her work was also featured in the "We the People, We the Arts" competition, organised by the Embassy of Switzerland, leading to exhibitions at the embassy and the Pakistan National Council of Arts in Islamabad.
Furthering her global engagement, Malik was selected for an artist residency at the acclaimed Vermont Studio Center in the USA, a significant opportunity for artistic development and exchange. She made her international online debut on Artsy through a collaboration with Contempop Gallery, New York.
In addition to her visual practice, Malik explores creative expression through poetry, with her work recently published in the anthology "The New Dawn," showcasing her multidisciplinary approach to the arts.
participated in We the People, We the Arts, Art competition organised by the Embassy of Switzerland, Islamabad and exhibited at the same venue and also at the Pakistan National Council of Arts, Islamabad. Alongside this Zoha was privileged to have had the chance to attend an artist residency at the Vermont Studio Centre, Vermont. She was the recipient of the Young Artist Award for the year 2019 organised by the Alhamra Arts Council, Lahore. Zoha made her debut on artsy.net with Contempop Gallery, New York. She also have an interest in poetry and recently got her poems published in an anthology “The new dawn”.
