Boitumelo Motau
Boitumelo Motau, a multidisciplinary artist b.1995.lives and works in Johannesburg. He has completed his B.A fine art degree at the University of the Witwatersrand(2018). His practice incorporates installation, video, drawing and Photography to further investigate his interest in history and collective memory.
He is currently interested in exploring the living history of Johannesburg, with special interests of working with archival material with intentions of having a conversation with inherited histories in the process of building and creating his own archive of imaginative and speculative data. He is working through these ideas via drawing, photography, collage and video work.
