Viviane Herzog
Viviane Herzog (born 1990) has always been intrigued by the complexities of human relationships. Her journey began during her studies in Art Conveyance (Kunstvermittlung) in Basel, Switzerland. Drawing on her previous experience as a writer and editor, where she delved into the lives of individuals, Herzog has been translating this fascination into her artistic practice since 2021.
Herzog’s work, mostly paintings and installations, celebrates the inherent ambiguity of life. By highlighting the beauty within this uncertainty, her art hopes to provide comfort and hope to the viewer. She has exhibited her work in several group shows in Cape Town, South Africa (2023) and is currently preparing for her first solo show in Basel, Switzerland in May 2025.
