This early engagement with visual art laid the foundation for his future career. In 2021, he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Painting from Ale School of Fine Arts and Design in Addis Ababa. Getaw’s artistic practice is a profound exploration of the human psyche and the subconscious mind.
