Khaya Malinga
Khaya Njabulo Malinga, born 1998, is a South African visual artist from the township of Tembisa in Ekhurleni, who is currently studying Advanced Photography Programme at the Market Photo Workshop (MPW).
In 2022, he became part of the Abadali 2022 Art for the JP MORGAN collection. In 2021, Malinga participated in the Reebok South Africa love and equality programme.
Through his experience of photography Malinga assists foundation course students with black & white Analogue/Film developing, printing and scanning from MPW. He has also assisted as a Videographer & Editor for a walkabout of the exhibition in 2021.
Malinga’s photography journey at the Market Photo Workshop began in 2020 when he started the Foundation course, continuing on with the Intermediate course.
