Sifiso Temba
Sifiso Temba is an artist living and working in Gauteng, Johannesburg. Temba completed a 3-year Professional Development Programme at Artist Proof Studio 2015 and he was assisting in facilitating 3rd years in conceptual development at Artist Proof Studio in 2016. Temba has been represented in numerous exhibitions and art fairs both Johannesburg and Cape Town. He works in multidisciplinary mediums, which include printmaking, painting, drawing and sculpture. Temba has been featured in the Thami Mnyele Fine Arts Award top 100 in 2019 and the Absa L’Atelier top 100 finalists in 2018.
Temba’s work explores the conditions and circumstances that must exist to create a restless hopelessness.
