Thabo Skhosana
Born in the East Rand in 1996, Thabo Skhosana has always had a love for art particularly drawing from an early age. He was inspired by the animation and comic books that his father would give to him. He studied graphic design at Rosebank collage and subsequently joined the Artist Proof Studio. He completed his third year in 2019.
Skhosana has been part of a number of joint exhibitions with the Artist Proof Studio which include, Strauss & Co at Turbine Art Fair 2018/19, The Legacy exhibition 2019, and JoburgArt Fair 2019, TAF 2022, Art Joburg 2022 to name a few. When Thabo isn’t printing artwork he is either busy with a beat, producing music with friends or working on his ongoing comic book series, that one day he hopes to publish. Having learned many different printing mediums, he has focused on of linocut, etching and combination printing with colour.
