Kathy Robins

Kathy Robins is a seasoned professional with a career that spans community development, art, design, and social activism. In 1999, she founded a Corporate Social Responsibility Programme and has since contributed to sustainable development projects, such as community gardens and entrepreneurship initiatives. She holds a BA in Social Science from the University of Cape Town (UCT), a degree in Textile and Product Design from Parsons School of Design in New York, and an MA in Fine Art from UCT's Michaelis School of Fine Art.
As an artist, Robins has participated in numerous exhibitions both locally and internationally. Her work explores themes of displacement, home, and the intersection of contemporary ecological and socio-political issues. Using natural materials and organic forms, she reflects on humanity's connection to nature and the current global challenges of physical and social displacement.
