Richard Witikani is a contemporary artist. Richard Witikani is a Zimbabwean male artist born in 1967. Richard Witikani is an older, established artist from Zimbabwe who focuses on timeless landscapes of home. His main themes revolve around the power of land and belonging. Witikani's artistic practice primarily involves landscape painting, characterized by a traditional and timeless stylistic approach.

Richard Witikani’s first verified exhibition was Post Election Selection at Gallery Delta in Harare in 2000, and the most recent exhibition was When We See Us at Palais des Beaux-Arts (BOZAR) in Brussels in 2025. Richard Witikani is most frequently exhibited in Zimbabwe, but also had exhibitions in South Africa, Germany and elsewhere. Witikani has at least no solo shows but 39 group shows over the last 25 years (for more information, see exhibitions). A notable show was When We See Us at Palais des Beaux-Arts (BOZAR) in Brussels in 2025. Other notable exhibitions were at Kunstmuseum Basel - Gegenwart in Basel and Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa - MOCAA in Cape Town.
